She lost in 2017 but is back in the top spot after a rematch last year. The list also includes 125-pound champion, Amanda Nunes. Both fighters have impressive resumes and have dominated their divisions.

Israel Adesanya

Israel Adesanya is already a top-tier contender in the U.F.C. middleweight division with five wins and two losses. He has also faced top-tier competition like Anderson Silva. The Israeli-born fighter had his promotional debut with U.F.C. in 2018 and soon became an interim champ and then the undisputed middleweight champion at UFC 243. He defended his title against Marvin Vettori and won a rematch with Rober Whittaker.

After being disqualified, a recent U.F.C. fight saw Aljamain Sterling become the bantamweight champion. The fight happened after Sterling had won five consecutive fights. Yan’s technical striking and the underrated ground game gave him the win. However, Sterling hasn’t been able to defend his belt since the fight.
