Ronaldo’s fitness
Cristiano Ronaldo is in doubt for the Man Utd game against Atletico Madrid on Saturday, despite returning to training this week. The Portuguese forward has missed the team’s pre-season tour of Australia and Asia and was not included in the 21-man squad for the friendly. However, the club has not commented on the reason behind Ronaldo’s absence, and the forward will still be available to play in the first Premier League game against Rayo Vallecano.
