The answer is yes. The Olympics are a great opportunity for businesses to promote themselves. They know that the Olympic Games are a great promotion vehicle. The Olympics are full of corporate sponsors. These sponsors seek places to promote their business to a prospective consumer base.

Many of these sponsors are in the hospitality industry. As you can imagine, many companies are willing to pay a lot of money to come and offer their services while in the Olympics. Everyone is looking for growth. A key example in this regard would be the travel and tourism industry. They would love to be at the Olympics as it is a great chance to promote their services to prospective customers. The Olympics provides plenty of opportunities for service businesses to make a name for themselves and local customers to learn about their services. It is a tremendous opportunity for these businesses to promote themselves in a big way.

Who wants to advertise at the Olympics? You may have thought about it, but how many people do you know that have a BJJ school? How many BJJ practitioners do you know that are thinking about starting a Jiu-Jitsu school when the Olympics are over? Realistically, how many businesses are going to benefit from this exposure? With the current economic recovery, it is expected that many BJJ instructors and schools will be forced to improve their services to be competitive. It seems as if many are not aware of the Olympics’ opportunity. Many new and prospective students do not realize that there is an alternative to simply advertising and trying to make it as seen as possible for a BJJ school. What better way to do that than to be the one to advertise the benefits and return on investment that your BJJ school can provide?

If you are not currently marketing, then you are falling behind. Take a good look at your marketing situation. You’ll be surprised to know that you are advertising for no return. This is what you are doing! Of course, if you are going to advertise, you need to have a strategy in place. You also need to understand that many BJJ schools are willing to ‘borrow’ your services. These schools do not have the capital or the trucks to advertise independently. They would need to use other instructors to do the advertising for them. By enlisting the services of others, you can get the exposure you need without making more than your required wage!
